Beneficial Effects

In folk medicine, it is less significant but still used for diarrhea, colds, rheumatic complaints, skin conditions, and varicose vein issues.

Usage

1. Brew: Boil 2 dl of water, then add 1 tablespoon of dried herb. Boil for one minute, then let it steep for 10-15 minutes. Consume 2 dl of the preparation twice a day.

In the kitchen

Not suitable for culinary use in dishes.

Interesting fact

Canadian goldenrod originally comes from North America but later spread to Europe, where it was planted as an ornamental plant. However, it has since become a wildflower, covering vast areas in golden yellow during flowering.
