Vacation and relaxation can be accompanied by unpleasant companions: insect bites. If we travel abroad, especially to the tropics, these can even pose a more serious problem, while at home, they are mostly just uncomfortable and not really dangerous. In order to protect against insect bites, it is important to know how to prevent these discomforts and what products can help in defense.

Insect bites can occur in gardens, parks, forests, and even in our own yards. Most insect bites are not only uncomfortable but can also cause allergic reactions. To avoid this, it's worth considering appropriate defense methods. Various insect repellent sprays and creams are now available in almost every store.

Here's how you can recognize the most common insect bites based on their symptoms:

  1. Mosquito bites: Mosquito bites usually appear as small, red bumps on the skin. Symptoms include itching and swelling. Itchiness often occurs a few hours after the bite and can last for days.
  2. Wasp stings: Wasp stings are often more painful than mosquito bites. A red, swollen, and painful area develops at the site of the sting. In some cases, allergic reactions may occur, such as swelling, difficulty breathing, or rashes.
  3. Bee stings: Bee stings can cause similar symptoms to wasp stings, but some people may experience more severe allergic reactions. These can include severe swelling, difficulty breathing, and shock. Ant bites: Ant bites usually appear as small, red bumps on the skin. The affected area often itches and hurts, and sometimes minor swelling may occur.

How can we treat these symptoms at home?

To relieve itching, you can use a cold compress or ice cube on the bite area. Use IRIX spray to relieve symptoms. If symptoms are severe or if allergic reactions occur, seek medical attention. IRIX and IRIX Forte spray can be extremely useful if a bite has already occurred. Conveniently usable whenever needed, it's an ideal companion for hiking, camping, or everyday leisure activities. It can help alleviate symptoms and promote faster healing.

It's important to note that everyone may react differently to insect bites, and the severity of symptoms may vary. If you experience any concerning symptoms, seek medical attention.
